The primary role of this project is to support the ongoing development of children’s services in being connected, flexible and responsive in empowering children and their families in reaching their potential within the Bankstown LGA.

Services Provided

• Provide information on children’s services, referral pathways and supports available to the community.

• Promote and deliver training opportunities for parents and professionals from a range of child and family services.  
• Plan, develop and support a range of community development projects within and across sectors to enhance referral pathways that increase access to services for children and families.
• Lead and convene local child and family networks; Authorised Supervisors Link Up (childcare sector), Bankstown Children’s Services Forum and its associated working groups ie Bankstown Child Protection Interest Group and Bankstown Early Childhood Intervention Committee
